We will celebrate the carnival for 7 days and each day will boost us with some message. Day wise themes have been planned as announced by honorable MIC, NBDD at the conference hall of Siliguri Municipal Corporation !

Clean and Green Siliguri Day !
Let's all dedicate some time to our City #Green & Clean Siliguri !
One of my Friend just raised a very important matter related to #Cleanand greeen Siliguri .
She says " easy access to garbage bins(separate dry and wet garbage bins)....primairily necessay along with general awareness of its use "
The prosses is called" garbage segregation "
#Remember, being cleaner and organised today means a healthier and happier tomorrow!
One of our MY Friend just raised a very important matter related to #Cleanand greeen Siliguri
HE says "This is really nice, but just brooming will not get City clean till we don't have -Waste management.
-Mahananda has become drain. It smells.
-Dbs dumping ground has been a nuisance.
-Garbage vehicle carries garbage,
-Littering around on the road,
-Vet hosp doesn't have enough space to keep stray animals roaming around n Shitting.......
-Advs board hangs on post without proper care to conceal City beautification,
-Toilets n Urinals has to be built to avoid road side piss n toilets.........
-Open meat n fish shops has to be taken to specific closed mkt with proper hygenic condition,
-Resettlement of hawkers n juggi jhopdi has to be arranged to clear the road encroachments......
-To pave the way for proper traffic control n Clean Siliguri."

Day 2 Safe Driving day

Do we actually care ? about our safety and is worried about our family if today I cannot reach home ?
On this day, we are encouraged to recognize and show appreciation for the value and contribution of elderly people to home, family and society. - See more at.
On National Senior Citizens Day, we should:
– Spend some time with senior citizens
– Show our appreciation for senior citizens
– Do volunteer work in support of the elderly
